About Danielle Kornacki, LMHC, PMH-C

Founder ♥ Therapist ♥ Fellow Mom

Hi there. I’m Danielle, a licensed mental health counselor, certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C), and mom of two spirited little ones. I know the ups, downs, and everything in between that motherhood brings, so I’m here to offer the kind of understanding and compassionate support every mom deserves.

For over 10 years, I’ve helped women navigate some of life’s most significant transitions. My journey into this work began with my Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from the University of Connecticut, which fueled my passion for supporting women's wellness. From there, I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bay Path University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

My work has taken me from hospitals to community clinics to private practice, but it wasn’t until I became a mom that it all truly clicked. Motherhood reshaped the way I understand care, connection, and what it means to support other women. I recognize the deep need for support that feels real.

Despite all my training, including becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and earning a specialized Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, I was still blindsided by the lived experience of sleepless nights, the invisible mental load, the self-doubt, and the emotional highs and lows of motherhood. I can still remember sitting in the dark during those late-night feeds thinking, “Am I the only one who feels like this?” (Spoiler: I definitely wasn’t, and neither are you.)

That’s why I founded The Motherhood Wellness Center: a safe, judgment-free space built for moms, by a mom. Here, you don’t have to explain the messy house, the tears over cold coffee, or why you feel both grateful and overwhelmed at the same time. You’re not just another name on a calendar; you’re a whole person with a story that matters.

Whether you’re in the thick of newborn life, navigating fertility challenges, healing after birth, chasing toddlers, or rediscovering who you are beyond “mom,” you belong here. You’re seen, understood, and supported by someone who has both the professional expertise and the personal heart for this journey.

And most importantly, you don’t have to go through this alone. I’m so glad you’re here.
